1. Who this covers
This policy applies to cursivee.app and its text generators. In this policy, "we" means the operators of cursivee.app and "you" means anyone visiting it. This covers every page served from https://cursivee.app.
2. What we collect
Two separate things, and it is worth keeping them apart.
The text you type: nothing at all. It is never transmitted, logged or stored — see section 3.
How the site is used: anonymous statistics. We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit, which generators they use, roughly where in the world they are, and what kind of device they are on. This tells us which pages are worth improving. There are no accounts, no sign-up, no contact forms and no advertising on this site.
3. The text you type
Every conversion runs as JavaScript inside your own browser. The text you enter is never transmitted to us or to anyone else, is never written to a server, and is never logged. Close the tab and it is gone. This is a property of how the site is built, not a promise we have to keep by hand.
4. Local storage on your device
The site saves two small things in your browser's local storage so it can remember your preferences between visits:
- Theme — whether you chose the light or dark view.
- Pinned styles — which styles you starred, per generator.
These stay on your device and are never sent anywhere. They are not cookies and are not used to identify you. You can remove them at any time by clearing site data for this domain in your browser settings; the site will simply forget your preferences.
5. Cookies and analytics
Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser so it can tell a returning visit from a new one. These are first-party cookies, they do not follow you to other websites, and they are not used to identify you personally. Google receives your IP address as part of this; under Google Analytics 4 it is not stored.
If you would rather not be counted, any of these work and none of them break the site:
- Google's official opt-out browser add-on.
- Any content blocker or privacy-focused browser — analytics is one of the first things they stop.
- Clearing site data for this domain, which removes the cookies along with your saved preferences.
6. Server logs
The site is served as static files by a hosting provider. Like nearly all web hosts, that provider may automatically record standard request information — IP address, browser user-agent, requested file, and timestamp — for security and reliability purposes. We do not use these logs to build profiles, and we do not combine them with anything else. This data is held under our host's own retention policy and privacy terms.
7. Third parties
Google Analytics is the only third-party service these pages load, and the only company that receives anything about your visit. Its handling of that data is covered by Google's own privacy policy. Nothing else is embedded here — no advertising networks, no social widgets, no external fonts or scripts of any kind.
8. Children
The site is suitable for general audiences and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
9. Your rights
Data protection laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights over personal information a service holds about you. We hold no accounts and nothing you have typed. The analytics data described above is anonymous and held by Google on our behalf; you can stop it being collected at any time using the opt-out methods in section 5. If you believe we hold something about you, get in touch and we will look into it.
10. Changes to this policy
If the site ever adds something that touches your data — analytics, advertising, or a contact form — this page will be updated and the date at the top changed before that feature goes live.
11. Contact
